Gale Virgil Barney, 61, husband, father, son and grandfather, died Dec. 2, 1986 after a long illness. He was born March 27, 1925 in Price to Virgil Adelbert and Ellen Crystal Barney. He married Evalou Kaleta Brady March 31, 1955 in Manti Temple. He was a member of the LDS Church, veteran of WWII. Loved to work with his hands. Enjoyed hunting, fishing and the out-of-doors. Survived by his wife, Evalou Kaleta of Price; daughters and sons, Mrs. Randy (Clea) Winder, Wellington; Mrs. Donald (NolaKay) Melo, Gusher; Karla Jean, Marlaina, Orson, Sheldon and Kirk, Price; Gaylene, Orrin Neal and Bert, Wellington; seven grandchildren; mother, Ellen Crystal Barney, Wellington; brothers and sisters, Edwin, Bill, Wellington; Allen, Ogden; John, helper; Mrs. Ted (Ellen) Nielsen, Huntington; Mrs. Wendall (Sally) Stover, Edmonds, Wash. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 5 in the Fausett Mortuary Chapel. Burial was in the Price City Cemetery.
